Man I forgot what it’s like getting your weekend on in the middle of the week. And for whatever reason I can’t say the word “weekend” without thinking of the cheesy phase “everybody’s working for the weekend” which of course would lead you to logically think directly of these guys. So true, and to think that they were nailing it down in 1981. I’m tempted to look up their tour dates, cause you just never know.
What started mid week with a “Wet Lunch” that spiraled into quite the blizzard. Gangster Nic was there along with Teenwolf and even a pair of ringed Peebers socks made it in the mix. We learned that The Palimino makes a ‘gnarly’ bloody mary and also that they’re planning a Bicycle version of the ‘Polar Plunge’ on January 1st. More to come on that one later. Sounds like a fun event as they plan on using a launch ramp for participant to jump themselves and their bikes into the frigid likes of Lake Michigan.
I’ve been waiting for the Journal Sentinal article to make it out to give out the much deserved props to all the Wisco Shredders that just tore it up at CX Nats. There were a ton of them representing. Congrats to all of them. You can read about the local flavor on the race and results HERE.
