With Tuesday upon us JT (Jus Tilted) and I decided to fore go the morning Taco Tuesday breakfast Tacos and we went to go brave the conditions at Pets. It was rumored that the trail conditions were PRIMO on Saturday so we decided to give a run at em. Here’s a picture of JT showing me how to find a good line stay on the bike in, unless you are actually looking for a mud mustache, less than desirable conditions.

If you look close enough you can almost see my cat like scratch marks from trying to stay on a clean line just seconds before this. I wasn’t as successful as JT and I have the mud mustache to prove it. So the bad news is stay away from the river if you heading out to Pets. It’s greasy, cruddy, and currently reserved for the likes of bums, hobos and vagabonds. The good news however is that everything else is in tip top shape. After running the river loop we hit up the trails along Hwy A and Benito’s loop up and around the golf course hill. It was nice enough that I managed to get a solid 2 hours of dirt in while pushing the Black Jabber up down and around.

So far so good, now all I gotta do is find some Carne Asada steak tacos.
