Mo Mondays

Saturday came and went. With temps poking around the mid forties and a 3pm start for a work day I was able to get a little ride out on the road by my lonesome. Even though I was a little chilled it was a strong reminder that Spring seems to be right around the corner. After being sick for the first part of the week I was riding indoors on Thursday and Friday so I wanted to cap off the week with a little stretch outdoors.

So like it’s been practically every other time I’ve ridden out towards the west it was a northeast wind of course. It took me roughly one hour to get to my first turn then it was like I had a sail on my back……………vroom! The ipod ran down though last years playlist and short of the roads being empty the most excitement out there was a high water crossing after about 3 miles of ‘road closed ahead’ signs plastering the roadside. It was basically standing water not much higher than 4 inches near the middle of the road.

After that I scheduled an early out and made it to Jeffro’s about 4 hours after everyone else did and you better believe that things were in full swing.

Some of the more interesting things that came up were:

1. No one had a Leprechaun outfit for us to dress Shorty up in, even if there was $20.00 in it.

2. Nic has a Sugar Momma and the word it OUT!

3. Ewwwww ew! Jamie’s got a fatttt ass!

4. Scottski said that he’d drive us to HERE in October

Thanks to the JEFFRO’S for putting up with us and for putting it together. Justin stay the course and do well. AND….. thanks to Saturdays antics there was no riding in store for Sunday as planned but rather a stuffy head, sore sinuses, and the start of a sore throat. I’m back to being sick and the weather is starting to break. Maybe it’s a good time to work on some bikes…….nah I think that just a little sleep is in order.
