Man where do I start. I’ve been living the easy life that’s for certain. Off works since before Chwammy and just riding bikes (Harley’s and SASS’s) to fill in the time. After I gave the SWERKS the once over I took it up to Ben’s to have them check out that shifter that was giving me problems. Sounds like it was just a little gunked up inside the housing, they cleaned it out and it should be good to go. I was also looking to get my rear derailleur pully’s replaced as they’re pretty much fried and worn to bits. While I was there I was asking to see if they could look into my front fork, it leaks a little bit of earl during rough races. They recommended a rebuild which would mean sending it out back to the Fox Factory as it was the stock fork that came with the bike in 2006.
Well I figured no better time than the present to start represent’n with a Hayes Mountain Bike Group fork ala Manitou. So I called my peeps and got a delivery on this little beauty.
I think that will help with the front end for certain, plus now I’ll be able to send the ‘other’ fork in on my own time.
There was a killer corn roast that went down yesterday. Good times for sure. I saw that Fatness has a write up about it already. Well that’s it for now, gotta get some rest as it’s back to work tonight. Later Tater.
