Now I’m not talking about THIS kind of all wet but rather it’s a factual statement as it relates to all of the rain that we’ve been getting around these parts.
We’ve been getting the miles in but I’ve been longing for a daily dose of dirt and single track. There’s little relief in sight over the next couple of days only to be followed up promptly by rain. I don’t think that the Sunday Funday out at Kettles is going to pan out, the trails will be rightfully closed if they’re wet. depending on how fast things dry up, I may not have to wait that long.
So what do you do when you want the peace and comfort of the woods?
You build small bridges and home that will keep your local trails in just as good of shape as those managed by the pros. No sneak peaks until it’s properly installed. I followed a skinny bridge lead and made it 12 inches wide by 3 feet long. Can you guess where it’s gonna go?? All I gotta do is find where that left over stain is now.

man i love new trail goodies
AMEN!!!
I just called the Kettles Hotline and they said that they predict that the trails will be open all weekend!!!
