9 days later

I’ll begin by saying that I don’t know where to begin. I like most …….am better at reading blogs than I am at busting out blogs. Noteworthy updates, Malibu pulled smooth number one and casted out his first blog post!!! Nice!!!!! Unsmooth move number 2, the wind!!! Totally heartbreaking to say the least. My motivation was the fact that I was the only cyclist for miles around. Better for the dirt, at least that’s what I kept telling myself. So a couple road rides, some maintenance out at Pets, and loading up the killer wagon on several occasions.

That second pic is actually Jeffro’s one and only, made for no other, first ever produced, and number 1 of ….well 1 Milwaukee Bicycle 29′er. It’s ef’n sweet, and reminds me of some monster truck cause it’s so narly.

 As Malibu mentioned we laid down a good one at Pets on Sunday. 15.93 miles worth for 124 minutes. Legs felt good even after running the road through the wind on Saturday. Climbing was sweet around Hwy A and the bridal so we spent a bunch of time around those parts.

My timing sucks on the digital as obviously I was a lil early, but take my word for it………….huge air, yo!!

Today I jammed up Da Fro and made him pull out his first 2008 “2 a day”. The trails were vacant and pristine. 13.09 miles in a frame of 87 minutes. I’m not good with math but I know that we averaged a speed of 8.9 mph. Doesn’t sound very ‘zippy’ but that’s a pretty respectable pace to keep up.

There’s something about the doods that I ride wif and their ability to to be “Michael Jordan-esque” over obstacles. You be the judge.

I call that Milwaukee the LOG CRUSHER!!!!! It leaves a trail of saw dust and wood chippings in it’s wake.

Tomorrow I’m hoping to get the Swerks out to Kettles to make sure that she’s all set for Iola, there have been some changes to the bike since last year and I figure what better way to get any kinks out of her than on some 26 miles of oh so flow-ie single track.

I almost forgot that while I was at Pets a park worker was handing out flyers for park goers to beware of an exhibitionist showing of his wares, if anyone recognizes this bootyful.JPG give the authorities a jingle.
