Dark Side

Ok, i know im not up on here like i should be, but i gots this little phobia called english. im a construction dood not a writer, but im willing to give it a shot.so today i hit up one of mah main homies to give  a burf-day shout out. turns out hes going for a ride, well sheiot, im in. i get clearance from Clarence (the ol’ lady) to go, and its set. i get a total of like 5 hours to hang out with the burf-day dood, and we head to the trails down by the local college other wise know as parkside or pets, you choose. down here in s.e. wes-scansin we dont have much, but we got a little trail system very close by, that throws out some aight challenges.k, so we head out in normal fashion, out on the infamous jeffro hill trail. at this point im thinking mabe burn a hot lap at like 45 min.s or so, and go hit a local tavern to throw back a couple of ribbons, shots of fine whiskey, and maybe a sangawhich. boy i couldnt have been further from reality. turns out we burned through the trails for like over 2 hours, and man did i cash my check in full, but with openeing WORS race in less than a week out, what better way than to really push the trails to see were my physical abilities are at.for one, the burf-day guy is well on his way to another good year of racing, well see, he doesnt have a real demanding job that requires him to be there real early nor stay late, so he has full reign of the gym anytime of the week. now like the rest of us poor saps, we need to be at the “man’s” footsteps early as hell and not leave til’ the approaching dinner hour. needless to say he is a great training partner, always there to push until you absolutely have nuttin’ left. with that said today was a great day of riding and i feel that i had over came alot of grey area that was left to be reckoned with and going into iola with a  little bit more confidence than last week. so bring on opening day, and my biggest cog!happy b-day! \m/
